platelet count

If you have factor V are your platelets always high or could that be an indication of a seperate condition?

I have Factor V and I have the opposite problem - low platelet count. This especially holds true while I am in labor making it impossible for me to receive an epidural.

I also get low platetes when I'm close to delivery. Though recently my CBC came back low(146) I am a little worried not sure what to think about it.

I have had CBC's done and found out I have a lower platelet count, but they are larger than normal.

I also have a low platelet count (120) and they are larger than normal. Discovered this when I was in delivery and couldn't recieve an epidural. Since then my platelets have slowly continued to drop. Anyone else have this problem?
