Bruises and FVL

I am wondering the same thing. I was diagnosed 2 weeks ago and I have always bruised very easily. I wonder now if the two are related.

My 8 yr old got diagnoisised with FVL a year ago. How I found out is he was bruising easily ( they looked like hickeys). Took him to the doctor they did blood tests and then sent us to the hemotologist. So yeah you can bruise easily. At least he does.

I bruise easily as well, (made worse by the low dose aspirin therapy.) They also look larger and take longer to disappear.
You may bruise easily if you are on coumidin. Or even by taking Lovenox. Bruising may happen after you begin to be theraputic with the medication
I have been on Lovenox for 2 years, and if your DR. puts you on this drug you will bruise with quickly and the bruises last long time. Also if you bang any body part that will also bruise.
With lovenox you will have to change your injection site often from your stomach to your leg's or your to your but.
